Managed to get to Henderson early (9ish), and still relatively empty (though crowds starting to stroll in).

hjbyeo, that's a good shot with the 10-20mm. Good sense of scale and lead in lines.

I just pretty lie flat on the board when I took the shot. I was thinking of creating HDR using the multi-exposure, but I haven't read my manual!! hahaha... After this walk about, I actually studied the manual in greater detail.

I would have preferred to have the skies a little darker on the left hand side so that the clouds are more 3-D or pronouced?

Thanks for the comments.. this just gives me more insight to whether I have done the right thing of imitating the compositions you guys always been showing ... I guess a picture paints a thousand words, and it's certainly true for me. Thanks guys!

Pardon me, but I don't understand ur switch. Ur photos look better when u had the K20D. I'm not a Pentax fanboy, I see it more as a tool to get result I want. How I see it is ur K20D shots are better exposed, better color and more natural. But that's just me, dunno if other bro/sis agree.

i feel the same, i resisted to commend because i dun see myself at a level where i could critique at someones work yet.

But given the benefit of the doubt that u just did the switch, probably it takes a while to get the best of the new gears... i also did a switch to pentax and it took me a while to adjust... im sure after a few more shoots the results will turn out great :thumbsup:

So dun stop shooting and posting

Lovely composition^^ u want the left cloud? try the desaturation trick I mentioned to u before. If dun remember try Brightness +18 & Contrast -28 then adjust the saturation from there

Looking forward to it. For better effect try using burn tool with a big pixel (like 338px) on the clouds before u do the color adjustment I suggested^^
