nope i just snuck out to a nearby park in the late afternoon to try out my updated macro rig.

hehe it was with flash!

a tricky trick i tried today.. if your flashed macros end up with a black background, hold a big leaf behind the subject to make it look like you have super smooth voigtlander bokeh :bsmilie:

of course since i only have 2 hands it was a painful process in the most literal sense!

Lawrence, John and I were at Sungei Buloh on Saturday, June 27th shooting macro. Since this was first time for me to SB, I was told to prepare for blood donation and became kai-su by applying mosquitoes repellent all over. However, it was none of that sort as there are other visitors at SB wearing bermudas and we came out not a single blood donation drive that morning.

Well, so much for the story. Here are my pics. You see, I am novice at macro and C&A are welcome from MM, SMM & MMM.
