Since I have no Macro lens ATM, I am using the 55-300 and cropping to get a pseudo close-up effect :bsmilie:

TaV mode IIRC, I/320sec, f/8, ISO640, ev+0.7, cw metering followed by raw conversion in ACR and crop + resize + USM for the dragonfly photo.

Been to Vietnam twice, and shot loads using S3 and other compacts, but never got anything as good as nightmare's.

Here's a parting shot, one of my favourites.

The DOF at f4 is quite thin as evident by the blur on the right cosplayer's face just a few cm back. And did I mention it's so sharp I had to soften it? (Need to practice masking to retain sharpness in certain areas. But it's too time consuming...) K135 is :lovegrin:
