actually it was more like a 135 sec exposure.. used the multi-exposure mode. and yes, i brought my tripod to work today!

very nice NS, Darren.

I hope to see more NS.

nice shot darren, but a bit too tight for me, needs a LITTLE bit more breathing space;

also a bit on the blue side, can play with color balance, and correct the verticals, and it will be nearly perfect! :)

anyways, hope you enjoy your k20d.. mine going to hit 20k shutter count already LOL

oooohhh..beautiful. From an angle we don't normally see.
Where did you take this shot from? Would be double whammy if you had stayed on and took another one after dark. :)

Hi night86mare
wow...how convenient, just as the K7 is about to be launched. then counter reading reset to zero! Would be nice if someone can upload some quick guide tips on how to do vertical correction. :)

Hi all, I have a couple of my daughters's pics:

wow kesha...you have beautiful daughters and your portraits are superb. I like the composition, colours, sharpness, contrast and bokeh! How to learn from you ?

Hi Airconvent,
I just followed the 1/3rd rule for composition and tried to balance the image.
And the correct FL for the kind of shots, which 200mm is my best FL for full body shot and got nice background.

My longest prime is the DA70mm....no wonder I can't get that effect ;)
I do have the 18-250mm but that kind of zoom lens will not be able to give this kind of clarity. The focus is really good. :)

it was taken from the rooftop garden of my workplace, The Treasury (between Funan & High St Ctr!). my original plan was to go shoot from the esplanade but my colleague saw me carrying my tripod on the way out and told me about this awesome vantage point!

i noted your comments and suggestions, the WB indeed looks off (too kancheong to process & post), and i've never corrected converging verticals before. but here's a second attempt!

I was using Tamron 70-300 Di LD for that fhot, but I set the FL to 200mm.
I am tempting with DA 50-135 but I am worrying the FL is not enough for my need.

DA*200 is the best.
Or........................

FA* 80-200/F2.8

But how can I get one...?

Darren, try it with minimum F7.1, otherwise the image will be soft.
