did you see the eggs beneath the abdomen?. I have so far one shot with the eggs carrying mother of dragon fly but shot quite a distance. yours is a unique shot too.

This is taken last year on our 2nd trip to JPN. I didn't think it was sharp enough though ... super misty

Marcus, those are not eggs but some parasites. You can see how dragonfly eggs looks like here.

I like the feel of the pictures... dreamy feel...IR photos, but on film - note the graininess!
Its very different from digital IR (below). And the digital shots were done on a cloudy gloomy day - introduces a different flavour to the pictures.
