Denis, you are right ofcourse, the horseshoe crab is harmless despite it's intimidating appearance.

Felix, I found it on the beach near that blue building restaurant (don't recall what it's called) near Carpark G. I've never seen it before on the beach, so it was quite a surprise for me too.

U doing better than I last saw ur work 1/2 yr ago. Colors, composition and PP more variations. Also not so much of safe angles/compositions. In short more interesting (well at least for me^^) Ya, as long your eyes look gd can liao. You're the artist, not like if you're being paid to do those shots^^

spider camouflage in the white flower suspended by the tiny silk and moth fell prey to it.
Removed the stalk and placed in on the leaves to have a clearer view of the spider
Looks like one of the wings was displaced.
Taken in venus road, uncropped and PP with Picassa, A200 macro with extension tube PKA

The green cast is from a leaf above the spider.I still cannot do these spider shots! It's either I am blind and oblivious to the surroundings, or just don't have a good eye for little crawlies (which you do so well)...

You just haven't get used to it yet. Normally if I can't find any insects in bushes, i'll sit near by, close my eyes and count to 5 or 10, then open eyes to start search. It's pretty hard not to have any insects around bushes in Singapore^^;

i could never shoot insects... no patience, no skill, i will stick to flowers...hehe

shots these with Longko earlier in toa payoh, squating and waiting in the little green bushes awaiting for movements of insects.
original from camera/ non pp/ non cropped.
spider was cropped and the best I could cos its an active one moving around.
