Hi,Pentaxians...i'm a beginner in photopraphy,K100d super is my first DSLR bought about a week ago.
Posted few of my virgin shot,hoping to get some pointers from sifu's in this forum.Pictures taken with kitlens,no photoshop but did some cropping.

Hi kehoe, welcome to the gang! I think you've got some pretty good ideas going there, so just keep shooting! Just one pointer: for standard landscape shots like these, try to make sure that the horizon is not tilted. Since you're cropping anyway, just make an extra rotation step and that'll solve the problem.

Btw, unless I'm mistaken, those shots were done in Penang?

Welcome to the forum. K100D Super is a super nice camera, I'm sure you'd like it.

Those photos look pretty nice, but some little process (level/curve adjustment) would bring the best out of them

Thank u for the warm welcome and comment. Lol...i didn't noticed the tilting until u pointed it out.I guess its the way i'm holding the camera that resulted the tilting,need to correct myself on this.

And yes,the pictures were taken in Penang and i'm a Penangites, btw.

Yes,the K100d is indeed a super nice camera for beginner like me.Coming from PnS, it was a huge leap in picture quality which is a shock to me coz i never realize it until i made a comparison in my picture file.:bigeyes:

Was in Turkey for tour last dec.. A beautiful country rich in history and great info on biblical times.

City of Ephesus, ancient city where st paul was writing to ephesian..

Archaelogist are still digging and excavating to find this lost city. A beautiful country rich in history, landscape and turkey people are very friendly lot.
