Thanks Jeff! It looks more dynamic! :D

those were shot with tamron 17-50

unlike u guys, that's all the macro power that i need! XD

Congrats, Alvan :) Glad to know that you made it.

I wasn't in my best shape yesterday, only finished the full marathon in 4hr16min. But not too bad consider I could barely walk just a week ago (due to a bad stomach, needed to see doctor on Monday and again on Wed.). BTW, it took me 1hr 50min to reach the half mark ;) The next half took me much longer though ...

Here is my medal:
(snip)

Wahlau,man! Those are abs of steel indeed! You are now my official idol. That's an amazing timing.

Erm, I just checked the ridiculously detailed stats - I finished among last 4% of 21km runners, and 90% of women runners in this group also finished ahead of me. Now, to hide my face..

Ok, another 2 medal macro shots. Unlike Darren who was smart enough to take lovely rain-soaked flowers shots, I could only huddle at home to shoot my latest shiny things. :P

Less handshake this round cos I lie down and propped a cushion to shoot these..

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

take pride that you managed to accomplish what you set out to achieve.. completing 21km is a feat in itself, you should not get discouraged by ppl who ran longer or faster. i bet you felt shag, tired, thirsty, dying, etc just like they did. and just like them you overcame those challenges.

i keep telling myself i need to go train up and regain fitness, but nothing much has been done.. :nono: haha so i had to resort to shooting flowers while you had some silverware to photograph and showcase!
