good use of the lens. the cabin has this space like feel! train or what?

hi seefei

it is the london underground, victoria line. if you come here, i think you'll agree with me that victoria line has the nicest looking carriages. certain lines are more well maintained than others because of the destinations they go to. :)

taikoh, can teach me your processing technique or not?

I use a preset call 300 ... or something like that. Google for presets and just download the whole bunch. After that, is trial and error. ;p

Great shots Gengh.

nice macro. the focus abit off on the 1st pic. look like the focus is on the front as the wing is clear and sharp!

Thanks guys! The focus looks pretty spot on on the face when I view the actual pic, I think Picasa's compression can't handle the amount of details there...

try lightroom or silkypix.. you'll love them.
I use picasa or gimp to input those words. Picasa the occasional "1 button fix all" but it's after lightroom's presets or curves.

Maybe next outing, birding or macro. ;)

Oh, I'm a Silkypix user. After meddling a bit with Lightroom, Bibble, and a few other raw converters, I still like Silkypix's interface and output the best.

I meant Picasa web album, which downsizes the file when I upload to it, and also when I hotlink them here. Most of the time it's fine though.

Exactly, I saw it was red on Lightroom, but when exported to Picasa (web), and displayed here, it's almost ORANGE!!!
