Aiyah, small matter. BTW fengwei brought out his "secret weapon", his IR only modified K100D. I have to say it was super cool especially since it was a super hot and sunny day.
I just got to get one myself. Knowing your love of IR, you've got to get one too.

actually tbh before fengwei's source came along i was going to just get some other brand one, but cannot bear to lose SR. but now, got hope. imagine where we would be without our friendly jedi master :bsmilie:

wow! The shot is great! And so are Arthur's shots too. I brought the DA40 along but did not use it at all. Should have tried..

Anyway, almost thought I could not make it but managed to join in late.
Nice to meet all the Pentaxians here. I took about 100 shots only but most were too bad to be posted here. Looking forward to the guru's shots!

Thanks to Arthur for letting me try his 16-50mm...wow, SDM is fast and quiet! I could not even confirm it was focussing. Thank also to Skypacker for offering to buy us drinks...a nice cool ice lemon tea on a hot hot hot day!

Met alot of the regulars here and managed to put a face to their nicks. Like Woosin, Art2d2(Arthur), macrob, isdtDes (Desmond), Benloke to name a few. I did say I have bad memory recognising people so if you see me on the street, say "Hi Pentaxian", so I know who you are! I did notice only guys present today, so Pentaxians are generally the choice of cameras for guys..heh heh

We had a good range of K100D Super, K200D, K10, K20D and lots of SDM, "normal" and classic lenses too and even a Nikon camera managed to sneak in the gathering

Yeah, it's a pretty fun gathering. Pity I couldn't stay long (otherwise the gathering might extend to the afternoon ...). Actually we should thank Arthur and Junlong for their help w/ suggestions and effort for the gather. Wonder how come Junlong didn't show up :think:

Thanks guys for sharing these interesting photos, made me wonder if I should post mine at all. I think the coolest gear of the day is the MX film camera. Should've brought my ProgramA along so I'd be able to capture some b&w films too ...

Oh yeah, the IR converted K100D is super cool. Actually I used it mostly for the later half of the gathering
