There are several dead pixel on my GX8. How can I do a pixel mapping on it?

It's easy on an Olympus EM1.2 but I can't seem to find that on a the GX8 oris it a different term in the GX8.

Thanks in advance.

Panasonic calls it Pixel Refresh, see pg83 of user manual.

Thanks. Next question, To be done hot or cold?

Online forum say "hot" meaning warm up or power on camera like taking long exposure. Do you have hot pixels because you do night shots or only dead pixels?

If hot pixels because of long exposure advice is first try turn on noise reduction because high ISO is used. Olympus has black screen substitution in em1 for night or astronomy shots to reduce noise.

Thanks. :D

I have been all over the place looking for the answer and thank you. :D

BTW, what's the difference between Dead Pixel and Stuck pixel?

Dead or stuck pixels literally mean pixel or light well/receptor is dead/not working so it will be black spot on image.
