I am a Salsa Queen
Taken at the Yishun Waterfront park which was oddly quite bare of ppl near evening time that day (usually there will be quite a few ppl).
There was only one party by a group of Indian friends who had their families with them.
After the cake cutting, the children ran about, and I just could not miss this little prima donna doing a spin a striking a pose.
Incidentally, she's the daughter of a former neighbor who rented a flat on the same level as me.

Capture my youth (MBS)
What captured me was the beautify soft glowing youth of the young lady and the contrast to her mother who was taking here photo.
This youthfulness captured on camera to reminisce on by her in the future.

What happens in the wee hours of the morning?
Well, I had been awake more than 24hrs (my wife gave birth to my son at 3am).

Hopped on the earliest bus to my brother's place where I had left my daughter in his care.
I was too early and did not want to wake anyone, so I lingered around a while in the local market.
someone has to sort the vegetables
early, uncomplaining, workhorse
morning market talk is about 'gusto'
in position before the customers arrive
early bird gets the papers -read for free

Personally, I find that my series is so-so (which is just exploring candid and street photography), more of a record shot than 'impactful' street shots.
The really nice threads really tell a story or invoke more thought per picture, mine don't really do that.
I certainly lack the eye for humor that many folks can pull off here as well.
Just your average voyeur recording down what he saw.....

Very often, we are led by the news to see the ugly side of things. Why not? Those make news.
There is often so much negativity surrounding domestic help esp. with respect to the care of children,
that its often ingrained to the minds of many Singaporeans.
The joy on this lady's face and the closeness to the child under her care just caught my eye.
Baby : She loves me too.....
