Just wondering if its a sensor or d Zeiss lens that gives such details and sharpness? Hmm...

I guess d Zeiss lens does improve the performance on d sensor. Good strategy by Sony to incorporate Zeiss lenses in the RX100...
U should... LOL...
Zeiss is very sharp.... so wen you combo a 20.2MP 1" sensor and it together (a lens that made specifically for the sensor), you have image which are sharp and contrasty, and pack with details.
wa bo lui liao.
Bro. Careful taking photos at escalators. Wait ppl tot u taking up skirts. Haha. Nice images though. Sony really made a good PnS this time.
Although a little expensive right now, it completely crushes my S95 and gives everything else (OMD/NEX/DSLR) a run for the money. Almost the perfect holiday camera.
The RX100 is probably the best point-and-shoot camera, but at this price point there may be a better camera out there.
Very impressive low/existing light pics! Care to share what ISO were you using?
Quite a few DSLRs can match it at the price point but they can't fit in a shirt pocket
tategoi said:I was referring to picture quality. What I'm trying to say is RX100 is probably the best PnS (regardless of price) but there are probably better cameras at the same price (regardless of size).
The EXIF is in the file, but generally 1600-3200
