Pictures from NEX 7, Thread III

Good lens he has there. Just how often he gets to use it? Tatz d thing abt telephotos. Unless u do lotza long range shooting.

True bro... that's what I should start doing now is to streamline my lenses... I think I'll do that when I move house then I will do is start reviewing the lens I need and don't need anymore, then just keep those relevant lenses and start letting go some

Oh OT again...

This is funny a lot of the folks like the Cron E55 ver over the older ones... but somehow I kinda like the Cron Series VI over the E55 I don't know and hard to explain I have not done much direct comparison but when I shoot with E55 and look at the photos I feel the Series VI has more character than the E55... sigh maybe I should withdraw my Series VI sale thread until I sort out this hehehe...

I think I really use that range twice. Actually I think it is a good range I shoot a few shot of my other friend wedding for fun a month or so. I quite like the bokeh n rendering

Cron-90 is a great lens :-) specially if you want some distance between you and your subject and it's an excellent portrait lens also...

Haha yeah I think the max for next I will go up to 135mm. More then that is ridiculously big. Might buy the Emerit 1 day but I got other plan in my mind now

Hehe if you don't need long lens just buy some great short focal lens bro.

That particular iteration of m 90 cron (1973) is great wide open (portraits) and also works incredibly well with m tubes, same as 90mm f/4 m-rokkor. 20mm gets to 1:3 on both, and the m-rokkor beats the living $hit out of the 100mm APO in that range.

80-200mm f/4 seems to have durability issues. I've seen a few copies, all either had haze or some mechanical issue. Weird, cuz 35-70mm f/4 was also made by Kyocera and has no problems.

Optically if d same then no difference actually. Knowing d cron 90 m is already very sharp wide open, but how often do u really use it? Portrait should b ok. A little short for birding n concerts.

The cron-m 90 is expenssive I can only afford the cron-r 90 hehe

Actually. Think pre asph versions of M & R lenses difference not too much. Look at pre asph R Summilux 35, still above 2.5k to almost 3k. Touching d M Summilux 35's price range. As more ppl r buying d new M which can use both R & M glasses, d price difference will b closing up soon but of coz cannot compare wif those crazy AA M glasses. Crazily ex.
