Test my Jupiter-9 M42 as this has been sleeping in my dry cab for awhile now need to see if still working. Only problem with this lens is you need a hood else the pix will be hazy or contrast is low as the front glass is just abour a CM away from the front lens thread so hood is must for this lens to get good image specially when shooting at bright area.

Both take @ wide open F2, also no sharpening done during PP just adjusting the WB and exposure and pull the saturation a bit

The Annoying Furby (kinda regretted buying this for my baby Daugther)
ISO400, 1/60

Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f2 M42-mount

Taken both wide open PopEye close to MFD of the lens pretty close for a non Macro lens, no sharpening done when PP just WB/Exposure?blacks and a bit of Saturation

ISO400 1/60

yeah true I must agree I have a lot of 50's Leica still renders very nicely... the color/contrast is really good and it has this so called pop. I might let go of my older cron 50 series VI ;-) and might keep the E55

Yeah. Whichever tat captures yr eyes. D cron 50 DR n rigid d nice too.

Both versions of the 50 Summicron-R are Dr. Mandler's designs. I have the E55, but shots I've seen from the Series VI look every bit as good. Gotta get out with that and my R3 one o' these days...

Thinking it would be too overcast to shoot long glass at f/5.6 I left my 2X home. So all I had was my 180 when I spotted this brown woodpecker tapping away.

NEX-7 with 180mm APO, f/5.6, cropped at about 65% . . .
