then better check if any shops there allow u to pre-order? sikali limited stocks.
240 + lux...is going to last u lifetime man....till leica come out with new model.

Still a longtime ahead before I can get my hands on them too. Haha. N of coz u guys can play wif them when I do haf them. Cheers.
This is the MD version. It's a bit rarer in f3.5 than the f4. Its really really sharp, at f3.5 DOF is shallow so needs moving around to get in focus. But the lens itself is a little bit on the heavier side as compared to the f4. But i'm used it. Its a comfortable weight and size for the NEX-7 being front bias and stable.
As for serious macro work ha, not too sure how serious is serious but i've taken a few bugs
But the lens is real sharp.

nice yeah post some bugs pix here I have a Vivitar MD 55 f2.8 Macro good and bad good is it's sharp and could do 1-1 the bad is max aperture is f16 even at this aperture when doing 1-1 the DOF is still shallow :-( and doing macro is not easy... :-(
