Haf a feeling its no gonna b FF NEX. Sony could haf launch it but it will b detrimental to their APS-C NEX models judging by recent launches of newer E Mount lenses.

Y dun u just move to RX1 if u need FF n just use it for street and portraiture photography? It will b out next month 12th as mentioned by ms color when I was there just minutes ago.

sony would not have launched ff nex in its prototype form. After the experience from nex, sony will only launch ff nex when they solve the lens size and quality issue.

unlike canikon, i do not think sony is concerned about nex cannibalisation as much. i believe apsc and ff nex can complement each other in the market.

Yeah... I think they figure that so long as they can cater to all markets, they will lock in more customers. They want to have a complete line-up to make sure that people looking for a DSLR/DSLT, Mirrorless APS-C, Mirrorless FF, High-end fixed lens rangefinder and premium compact all look at Sony.

I agree i think looking Sony's attitude they will surely release nex FF maybe the RX1 is the prelude :-)

Let's hope so and soon (but hopefully not too soon - for it will render my current setup kinda redundant). A ff nex with swivel screen will definately make me buy. But there's no ff emount lens :-( (nor any rumors on it).

One question bro. Wat if Fuji comes out wif d FF X series first before Sony NEX? Haha

If also they would adapt the peaking I would :-). Peaking really makes its uber easy to focus manually :-) and since I'm a Legacy MF lens lover any healp that would make MF easier would be one of my top pick. On the flip side I like Fuji no AA filter and so far most pix I've seen from Fuji are uber sharp also.

Anyways one last one for the road for this Canon FL 35/2.5 before I put it back in the dry cabby :-)

Well... its good to take all those older lenses of your collection to shoot abit, can prevent haze too if kept in the dry cabinet for too long... Seriously, if you are not using them frequently, its good to trim down your collection and focus on those you really want and will use frequently. Cheers.

Have I shared my album wif u? U can check out some of d shots I did on my X-E1 using both the XF 35-1.4 ASPH and the Summilux Pre ASPH 35-1.4 lenses here:

I seriously want the NEX FF to have a revolutionary sensor that can take away d need of d AA filter to enhance the sharpness further. All those purple fringe issues with wide angle lenses has to go too. Given that this will be a FF sensor, High ISO performance should be awesome even up to 12800... With all these plus the current usability and functionality of the NEX series, the next FF NEX will be hard to resist.... :bsmilie:

he's a collector also. which is why having so many lens of same focal range. :bsmilie:

dont think any problem for him since he owns more manual lens than NEX lens. can just dump the NEX and get Fuji.

True True... Let's see Sony or Fuji comes out wif the FF Compact Interchangeable Lens Camera first... But... There could be someone else crashing the gates... LOL :bsmilie:

No problem...he can always buy both lol. Why limit yourself!!! :-)

If you are super loaded, you can buy all the different systems you want... LOL...

Thank bro yeah I take out my lenses from time to time or atleast everyday open my dry cab so the RH is not always low. I will try to consolidate my lens maybe Jan Nov-Dec too busy to do anything hehe.

Yeah that would be good getting the best of both worlds lolz... NEX7 with a wrong lens for landscape is not that great so if you have another body that should help a bit hehe. but exp to maintain

Not a collector bro just fell inlove with MF lenses :-) I was thinking before how those photographer does it MF lenses plus using film some more they are really very good to still capture sharp images specially events or sports. And my dad had a rangefinder before so he kinda planted the seed I guess so when m4/3 was release and read about you can use MF lenses I snatch my 1st Mirrorless.

Fuji and Pentax have always been the so called under dogs in the digital imaging but the IQ was one of the best out there.... I am just trying to resist the temptation to get X-E1 :-)

Yeah... some some reviews and pic samples from the new Pentax K5 IIs, simply amazing. Color saturation is quite good compare to Fuji's. Y R U resisting the X-E1? Now is the time to get, as people r trying to buy the kit 18-55 lens X-E1 combo package @ 1750 @ MS Color. U can easily sell it off d kit 18-55 lens @ 800 (as the individual kit lens price is 1149sgd and its not available now) and buy the XF 35mm @ 650 on BnS now. Do the math, its d right time to hoot the X-E1 as you can still use the adapter to mount yr favourite M or R lenses... Cheers.
