Decided to try the Sony 16mm lens for the first time on the 5N. Hadn't used it before because I only used Pentax primes. This is the same old not so good lens, but in the 5N, Sony has performed new digital magic with the Bionz processor to correct distortion, other factors and improve the lens. Bokeh isn't very good, but I discovered that if you stop down from 2.8 to 3.5, you get much sharper results, particularly in the center.
F2.8 has that dreamy unsharp look to it

using 18-55 with shutter mode...
ur "10fps prefocussed" is what method?
If you look on page 43 of the manual, to set 10 frames per second shooting, you set speed priority continuous from drive mode. When I shot using a K5 last year at the F1, I found it best to go to manual focus and then just prefocus on the center of the track. When the car came by, I just fired away on continuous mode, while following the car.
