峭壁巨石荒凉地

蓝天无云日倚西

古道游人忙归去

抬头瞥见婵娟虚
sharp cliffs, huge boulders in the desert
cloudless blue sky, sun going to rest
tourists leaving the cardo in herds
catching a glimpse of the moon appearing pale and weak above
a pillar tall seen easily,
towering over the island handsomely
humble streets exhibit subtly
ancestors' culture and traditions tastefully

colourful carpets, desert wide appear
ancestral fields remain productive here
the humble farmer wishes so dear
good rain, nice weather, a peaceful year

beautiful gardens exude master workmnaship without fail

幽港浴晨曦

水冷朝气凉

人在异乡外

心往海天翔
tranquil harbour bathed in the light of dawn
cold sea water, refreshing morning air though spring's gone
being away with both feet stepping on foreign lawn
heart soaring high over mountains and seas like a new-born
crimson buds shy of full bloom
bee and insect having a nectar feast boom
our young lady in her seventeen or eighteen nicely groomed
