for your tenth shot, i like the texture (and colour) captured but i find it hard to locate the subject. also find the emptiness in the middle and the top left area distracting.

i loovvveeeee it becos it has depth. shows that although home is a tiny soft coral, it is the world for this family of coral crabs.

btw, i'm thinking of setting up a trust fund for needy photographers. it's called the Paul's Trust Fund. To help needy wannabe photographers like me who cannot afford high end equipment like S2 Pro and the likes. Here's how it works... you all contribute $$ , i use money to buy better cam for myself. Isn't that a wonderful idea?

Anyway, there are still some places left for this weekend's Kuantan wreck trip, gimme a call if you all can make it!

#2 - excellent presentation of the red starfish! :thumbsup:

#6 - LOVE the frogfish shot! The shallow DOF works for me.

Looks like a superb and very fruitful trip! Eric, pls don't stop at TEN photos... keep 'em coming...

hmm yr tenth shot.. too bad the bottom right crab is not placed more into that corner.. if not.. its will be in focused and complete the picture prefectly...

I crop the other two pics from the main pic. That's how I came to the presentation.....

I am using a housed system, so it is just the 60mm Nikon Macro D. No stacking. Didn't use a teleconverter. it looks good becos
1. 60mm macro is a damned fine lens
2. S2 Pro is a damned good camera
3. presentation on the internet only req 72 dpi

Wow... Eric, i thoroughly enjoyed myself looking at yr excellent shots. There are many shots in yr album that i prefer to the ones you posted.
I also particularly liked the wide angle shots with the colourful reefs covered with heaps of ikan billis. Thanks for sharing. ;p
