I preferred yellow and using high peak. More easy to focus especially indoors.

when i test . i do see a bit of difference in the focus peaking shown on the screen. u can try it.

using Black & White - easier to see the focus peaking colour.

You have to understand the shop which rent this expensive gear with high capital costs. They have to cover their costs.

Why not try renting the Summilux lenses? Or maybe the Noctilux!

Don't try the M9. It will cost you more than $150. Especially after a day or 2 of testing, you will start only to learn how to maximise it. It is not a camera that will get you nice pictures on day 1. But it gets better day after another. If you stop using it for a while and use it again, you will realise that you have to start over again.... But when you reach the familiarity of all the functions, the photos will all make you smile.

Note that this is not a camera that you can pass to a waitress in a family dinner to take your family photo. It will turn out all blur.....

I normally use RED and MAX setting... no issue wif focus peaking.. cheers..
