This lens is not the same league as the 35mm f1.2II though.

Hey Kei, another guy in HK selling Nokton 50-1.1 @ 5.5K HKD... Seems HK is a good place to get cheaper Noktons...

So for CV, other than 35-1.2 ASPH 2 and 35-1.7 ASPH, nothing good enuff to rival Leica or Zeiss?

For the price of voigtlander, they are all good for value lenses. But if price is not a concern, 35mm lux FLE is still the best 35mm lens that is sharper and smoother than either of the CV 35mm lenses, yet a lot smaller than 35f1.2II. Bokeh is smoother and creamier as well. It is that good. Just that for one 35lux FLE, you can get 5 sets of CV35mmf1.2II.

The 35mmf1.2ii is very good but is a little too heavy. To me, this is the best CV lens followed by the 35mmf1.7. The rest of the CV lenses are not as sharp wide open.

While I love Leica glasses, they are really overpriced. But there are buyers waiting for their orders and thus price will always be going up, especially the few best models.

I really like the light weight and petite ergonomics of this CV 35-1.7... Tks... Performance might not surpass CV 35-1.2 ASPH 2 but definitely easier to lug around... Cheers..
