Closer focusing distance when used on a non-rangefinder body.

Bro Errz already posted some MFD pics on his CV35-1.2 ASPH 2 on his Hawk's Helicoid adapter of a closer distance of 0.28m... Anyone is statistics of such for ASPH 1 version?

Haha... Makes me wonder... how many 120L dry cabinets u haf to keep all those lenses and bodies? LOL

Had both CV35mm F1.2 V1 and V2. Sold the V1 after comparing both.

V2 is sharper especially at widest F1.2. V1 at F1.2 looks a bit hazy. Maybe my V1 set is not perfect, but V2 has better built quality.

V1 has "onion" bokeh which some may not like it. V2's bokeh is smoother.

V2 is shorter in size than V1. Both are very well built though, with V2 slightly better to me.

Don't worry about "rare" elements used to make the V1 that cannot be found and that's why they made V2 with a slightly different formula. The 3 Aspherical elements is better than the V1.

Because of all these improvements, V2 brand new price is $1,600, while V1 was initially sold for aroung $1,300.

Poisonously enough?

Very detailed poisonous details... Definitely a keeper for street and near portrait shots...
