Look like that K-3 was treated not very fair by Pentaxian! Might be because it is the first one has the Ricoh word on the body! :cry:

Is it? I thought I need to pay 1.5x higher, cary 1.5x weight and in the end need to crop away 1.5x to get the same field of view like that of the K-3! ;pNice ones!
You know that 31ltd will be 1.5x better on the K1

Didn't have macro lens, so have to crop quite a bit. The statue's at National Orchid Garden (Botanic Garden).

Last Weekend, there is a Pentax K1 Hands On Session organised by APDS.
Pentax 645Z is also available for us to try and play with it.
Although it was a short time with the 645Z, it was a great experience with it. The handling is great and the weight balance felt is also good.
Taken with DFA645 55mm F2.8 for a simple strobe set up for us to try.
I have uploaded the full size, do note there is editing on in lightroom and skin tone adjustment..
A crop from the middle portion.. so much details. damn impressed by the camera.

Anyway, all new sensors nowadays are very impressive. The higher density sensor almost catch up with this larger old sensor of the 645Z.
