Photos taken by Pentax cameras for tech. discussion - Season VI

Felix, i thought your camera's sensor is expired already. Sometimes i also got purple or magenta cast when using expired films :bsmilie:

Anyway, I seldom use AWB and leave the setting to daylight WB. I found it easier to adjust since all pics have same color temperature, so there's a fixed point to work from. Especially when shooting XMM, most of the time lighting condition is almost same, so just remember what the WB adjustment for one pic, then can apply the setting (temp and tint) to the rest of pics.

Normally autocolor on photoshop or auto tone on lightroom will do.

Thanks a lot Imam. As I shoot more indoors, I think I will use more florescent setting. I will take note of what you guys have recommended.

I'm impressed how these beauties overseas keep at the prime of the game, trim and toned tummies, beaming smile (rain or shine) and all.
Nice grab.

Completing a stage - Pentax K30, FA*85; 2 flash strobist setup

I'm certainly guilty of this as well, but here are some thoughts as I processed a shot of my daughter's graduation photo shoot with her childcare. (yes, I was paid :) )
Its all too common to fall into a cycle of thinking that the next camera is the one that will improve one's photography.
After all, just a digging into the pocket to get the new long lens or f1.2.

But what about completing the circle?
Completing the skill set that rounds out (me) the photographer.

Hopefully, I will slowly explore more ways to shoot and process over the last few months of this year and do more on the next.
