It gave me it's rear to shoot. There are 4 of them. Green pigeon. I feel the photo is a bit oof as it was very high up.
The part of the forest across the canal. Very clear sea water. Taken with FA*24 F2

Marcus, your macro shots are legendary. I am just trying out birding. Borrowed from Henry his wonderful 100-300F4 lens to play around and did not expect to shoot so sharp with a 2x teleconverter.

Only subject for this evening and full usage of flashlights till flash battery was flat. Not legendary but so many shots, will have one or two keepers.
Only difference is I used 2 extension tubes with A120 macro fully extended. More than 2 X magnification.otc

Tks, ranchy.. Night macro if there are sufficient interest, can proceed next month.
Need one or two video light for better lighting to light the way and will still be venus drive but slightly different from the last one we went. Also ultra violet light for scorpion and other critters.:bsmilie:
