I've got to get one of those new Haida ND filters at the least. (on hindsight, should not have been stingy and should have got it before the trip... )
The tianya ND has that magenta/orange/green cast that still subtly present after correction.

Try to go in Mar or Apr.
I think the Sun position is better on Panorama hill at that time (ie. nearer to the Charas Cave hill you see in the distance)

Sungei Lembing is a really old place that is seemingly touched very little by 'progress'.
Even many of the shop houses are wooden.
The other time that I've seen such shops has been in the inland small towns in Sabah.

ermmm...$10 shot nia...lol. This kingfisher is common in our parks...I always see or hear at least one in all the parks I visited. Maybe I should go ask Kengoh where to find the eagle which is on $10,000 note

I didn't know the White Collared is in the $10 note? You are right, this bird is very common, I can even hear it calling at my block.
I've not seen a S$10,000 before, did a quick google image search, couldn't find any bird, do you have the pics of this note?
