After trying shooting soccer with a Prime lens and in a full match scenerio. Its' really not very easy. Alot of anticipation of the actions to be where and hoping it falls within the area you want. I have lots of shots not in focus or just miss by that small tiny bit of action i wanted.
Kudos to those who always took sports pictures..

I must also mention about Ron Hedriks. I always see his photos in PF in K01 threads for the ladies soccer shots and admire how he took it. Damn.. how he shoot with a K01 (Not sure he shoot raw or Jpeg if he is going FPS.)

I'm supposed to be doing a monthly portrait for my boy or girl, but this one seems to have dragged over a month due to lack of time over weekends.
Decided to buy a costume/apparel every month for either of them rather than just spend money on gear.

Happy that I managed to find a spot for the bkground for the theme (its really a mess left/right just off the frame).
But not too happy with my PP. (looks a bit too modern to me)

I just can't bear to part with the colors for a all out vintage look (with yellow/orange cast; fade and all).
What do you guys think?

Love the costume, I think front shoot and vintage colors would be perfect.

Very nicely done. Thru all your photos posted, we actually seeing your kids growing up.

An interesting project you are planning for your kids. Looking forward to your upcoming photos. Try posting a vintage look, it could be fitting to the costume.

It's a lovely natural looking portrait. I envy you guys who can get it colour correct. I'm too addicted to PP to leave pics looking natural.

Anyway, here's a recent surreal portrait from me.

Despite all that is said about Pentax lack of long fast lens, AF, etc.
You prove ppl wrong with incredible shots like these.

Thanks JK, glad you like this shot. :)

I think its well done, just that color shots can be more distracting over B&W.

Looks like you guys had fun. :)

Ah I get what you meant. when there is messy background...

Lesson number 1 , drink 1 tsp spoon of honey with water every morning.
Lesson number 2 , NEVER ask them how old you are.
