taken by pentax k5 da60250 and fa2870 thx and pls advise...:)
 

Used the FA35/2 in place of the more expensive FA31ltd for a recent trip to Yogyakarta.
I was at first unsure of security, so did not want to risk a more expensive setup.
Of course, it turned out that the people were very friendly and the place safe.

IMO, the FA35/2 and K5 delivered wonderfully.
Low light, shallow DOF shots, good 'normal' FOV.

From Lor Halus? Last sat I went there, saw quite a number of this tailor birds, they were so noisy. :sweatsm:

Thks Bro Kengoh glad that U like too;p , yes is at Halus ,I went there looking for waxbill but end-up the waxbill did not turn-up :( n this noisy tailor birds was flying everywhere so........ just shot :bsmilie:

Looks like you captured a special moment Ken.
 

You guys might want to try the Seletar Airport area too.
Its stateland and has water body nearby, unhabited too.

I see birds flying around, but sorry, know nuts abt them to ID.

That day I saw abt 8 otters coming up to shore.

Hi Vincent, the waxbills should be there at last Sat I heard other birders said so. Luckily I got mine last yr.
I did not attempt to shoot the tailor birds as I'm concentrating on the sunbird nesting.
