I'm surprised that rentacops did not pounce upon you though

my thoughts exactly! can handhold in such lowlight conditions & still get starburst meh?

Hi all,

The photo was handheld... Can mount on tripod la, for pointing upwards, though must use live view... But I didn't want to risk getting heckled by security.. It was actually still daytime (which is why there is light in the distance through the transparent roof), so quite bright... Was using ISO800, at F/8 (for the starburst), shutter speed was 1/15 seconds.

the symmetry is uncanningly perfect! other than the starbursts and the lift, the rest are mirror image, one half to another. any cropping?

I think I had to rotate the image about 0.5 degrees and crop it to 4:3 aspect ratio.... (Out of camera --> 3:2)

Nice, but watch the color cast. ;)

Family shots can be repetitive shooting them over the years, but bring more warmth to the heart viewing them through the years as well.

Thanks JK . I do agreed it's slightly toward the warm side

Simon, never mind the comments about the remote, I think you've shot a very nice and spontaneous group family portrait with your lovely wife and cute son.
The still life is pretty good too, but you need to be mindful of the edges of the frame.

Thanks for the encouragement . Will take note on composition more next round . Thanks again

Pretty hazy this few days . Weather not good (both sky and wife mood :P ). It's also been a long time since I last do Macro . Saw 2 JS flighting each other hence quickly set up my stuff to catch the action at home

Also experience something new . DFA 100mm + raynox 250 to achieve more then 1:1

Nice!
You have style man!
Looks like a computer game.
Seletar camp?

Superb images by the familiar names. :D

I dug up one from my hard disk (putting some pictures together for a project) which didn't impress me much when I took it early this year. But it looks better to my eye now.
