Photos taken by Pentax cameras for tech. discussion - Season II

Oh, I've actually seen this bird before! But in the Seaworld amusement park in Orlando... not as garang as you to look for it in the wild. :embrass: Quite amazed when we saw it 'cos you'd never imagine a bird with such a strange looking head.
The bird handler was telling us that it's actually quite a lazy bird, and they try to stay very still and wait for insects to fly past them. When a careless insect brushes past the bristles on the frog mouth's face, it'll snap the insect right out of the air. Interesting.

Here's the friendly frog mouth we got to pat. It's got very soft feathers...

Bro, yours is cute.
How I wish to get hold of one, then position on a nice perch with clean bg & take a shot. ;p

Here's the sound of this ugly bird (thanks to a guy from PF to provide this link):

the 2nd sound clip particularly sounds scary.

Did not watch the movie but I just searched up the trailer and I think it's set in Chicago, so yes this is the same Bean.

Here is the view from under the Bean looking directly upwards, pretty mind-boggling eh

I like the coverage and wrap. Had to take care of speedlight placement to minimize hotspot. Will try with the umbrella diffuser next time around.
