Photos taken by Pentax cameras for tech. discussion - Season I

Guess most people will use the D21mm f/3.2 Ltd for landscape or some street shots, the close focus of this lens is actually very helpful when you want to shoot some products or your toys etc, especially if you only have a small space in your room to work on.

here's 2 quick shots of my SD Gundam toy with the lens.

SORRY, IT IS Zaku, the green colour warrior from the opposite faction.

Pentax macro 1:2 magnification + Raynox DCR150 + toothpaste box diffuser, handheld, cropped

The toothpaste box diffuser still gives me harsh shadow after all :bsmilie:

Guys, this is funny question but pardon me since it's my first time to shot flies. More than 70% of my attempts shooting flies result in empty green leaves. Are flies really that sensitive to flash light? My shutter speed is 1/180s.

Try lowering flash out-put and lower the shutter speed.:)

Sharing some pics from my visit to the firewalking event.

Handheld in camera HDR pic of Sri Mariamman Temple.

Taken at iso 6400. Nice fine grain with little chroma noise, colours are still vibrant.

Another shot at iso 6400

Can't get nice smooth shadows like the macro shifus here, but I think my cut-up milk carton diffuser (= char kway tiao plate diffuser) + built-in flash did a decent job on Kermit the frog here. :) Now I just need the K-5 to help me lower the noise...
