Hi There

Having played with the E30 a bit more I think that the slightly "flat" looking pictures straight from the camera are due to the increased dynamic range over my E510. More DR = less contrast. They come up really well with a bit of PP.

I am also playing with the bracket AE and multiple exposere to create simple HDR images in camera.

Dun think DR = Contrast.

When u lower the contrast, the tone curve has the highlight portion reduced as well (& vice versa when u increase contrast), so it affects the clipping bits. But contrast is not DR or part of it.
