I had upload the group photo HERE.

Anybody require the softcopy of the group photo, do PM or stated your e-mail here.

Hooray! What's a successful outing...

Hi people,
Great time and fun. Lets have another mass gathering one of these days.
Can't sleep yet, drink one too many red bull (6 to be exact).
Btw, who got the picture for the palangsi's 3rd theme?

Lonewolff - I think Ahkok has that picture as I was using his 16 gig card to submit for the competition.

Thanks everyone,

Had a fun and enjoyable photomarathon. Learned a lot about using flash.

Hope to see you on more outings soon.

Cheers

still not clear to me leh, how does tht relate to clarity?
got a few ways to view this pic la. the surroundings being dark and him being lit and in focus could be an enlightenment thing.

him looking at somewhere out of the picture also gives it a sense of depth outside the photo (something he's looking at is clear to him, but not to us)

no wonder, they nvr ask me to be the judge, if not this pic sure fail :P

anyway, i actually had the same idea as this shot initially but gave up cause i thot it wasn't clear enough

sometimes, the best way to express something is to make the lack of it plain obvious

out of the box thinking...

yo. this is my email add: chrisam_chris@yahoo.com.sg aka chris. Can email me the photo ya?

and sorry about the late response. was actually out the whole day buying grocery and bringing my wife to the salon. my own version of life marathon. lolz. and i'm doing night shift right now. ahahah.

Totally had fun yesterday and was so glad to have met a very nice group of khakis who are all out and willing to help one another. Never regretted joining the marathon even though it was a sheer shagged out after the announcement of the third theme. will definitely join the outing if there's one.

And i have to say thanks to francis who shared his knowledge and 'flashing' skills with us even this is a first-time meeting for everyone. Kudos to the 'Shi-fu*. do you need a mentee? lol.

hope to see you guys and gals soon. If not, see you next year at the Canon photomarathon.

P.S. has anyone started a thread to post the photos on the day itself?

correct.

clarity doesn't always had to be clear.

i submitted this but was not shortlisted, guess the judges was not keen in landscapes haha.

i felt so lost during this year's canon photomarathon end up shooting crappy photos.

well... it's always a challenge to think, to find & to shot that moment of photo that captures that feeling... more practices i guess ^^
