photographers are irritating!!!
haha
but seriously, photographers are irritating. let it be known that if you're covering an event you must have respect for the area you're in. there's a reason why people mistrust photographers, it's because there's a proven track record of photographers making people look bad.

Cant believe that ppl actually bother to cover a rally. :bsmilie:

Those opposition rallies are good for relieving stressed, laughed my heart out the other day :bsmilie:

I feel that the photographer should not have snapped back at both Mr. A & Mr. B...
If he is doing a school project, he should have hold his peace & move on. After all he is asking a favor. Getting angry & intimidate anyone who is already so guarded is not a wise thing to do...

Mr. A & B, should know better than to respond in this manner.

I'll take it as an indication of their character & maturity :)

This story tell everyone that photgraphers are not "big shot",

want to shoot some thing, don't always think photographers have every "right" to do so,
yes, phtographers may have the right to shoot him, but "kena" "hood", want to blame who?

use more brain, and less mouth.
yes!thats the point I am trying to convey.....

Today almost got another one..again started by another photog...

Unfortunately, this demonstrates an extreme lack of political maturity amongst some of the general populance.

Personally, I'm wondering abt all these ppl. What's up with the term 'running dog'? Do they think they are still in the heyday of the old Barisan? Assuming a person in service of the elected government is a 'running dog', it simply lumps all supporters of any political party (which has the potential to form the next govt) a 'running dog'?

Some ppl just dun bother to use their brains.

Anyway, today's polling day. Before this thread gets locked, I 'd like to wish all eligible voters happy voting and vote on whom u believe and vote according to logic, trust and not let high ideals and myophic solutions jeopradise long term survival.

Unfortunately, there are ppl who regard crowd size for popularity.

That's why I say liao lor... if want to be commando and take photo at Rally, esp opp one, either try to blend in to the crowd, like wearing the party color, join in the shouting of party slogan, if not, get a bazooka size lens and stand far far far away and shoot lor..... if still cannot, stand together with the police and shoot lor, anyway, they also shooting video there...

wah lao you macam hoot magnet leh. next time dun go to the same outing as you liao :sticktong

i guess this is when a photog wish they are using the Nikon F4.:bsmilie: :bsmilie:

The opposition's (i really wonder why they're called tt) supporters are usually more rowdy, just let them scold lar, no pt arguing 1. Makes the whole situation worse.

though i enjoy taking picture , sometimes photographers, or journalists actually ,can get on one's nerves. nearly got into a big fight with a Today journalist last year wen he secretly took photos of me and my group of friends playing around in one of the beaches in sentosa.because of the fact dat half of the people in the group actually were leisure photographers , the way he pointed his camera and the way he kept looking at us and den his camera(which was those pNs cam).apparently , wen confronted , he denied taking any photos but wen we asked if we could take a look at the shots he took , he refused and wen one of my friend actually recommanded calling the cops to settle the lil 'misunderstanding' , he got super agitated and actually talked to us in a super rude tone , saying that we are just wasting his time and we didnt deserve to talk to him and etcc.... .

i know he was proly doing his job but wen u're taking photos of people , i think the least u can do is to not take pictures secretly i guess.cause den , misunderstand sure arise wad right.and wen questioned , cant we all just answer politely or better still let the party involve know that their picture will be published.

the more i thought the more i feel, the photographer could be at fault too..

the other day i was at an opposition rally..not taking pics but listening..

dan there's this photographer who walked in front of us, suddenly turned around and took 2 continous shots after which he just walked off quickly..(preplanned?)

even thou i myself is a photographer i felt that was kind of rude.

wow... that is why you always shoot with both eyes opened in case someone wants to throw a punch.

if i was the photog, i'd prayed that i have the guy who's photo i took, and go to the police and have him arrested for assault.

this has been said a million times before, if you are in public property, you are allowing anyone to take a picture of you. if you dont want to get ur picture taken, dont get out.
