Hello community,
I am exchange student from Germany and need a photo I want to submit with my job application. I can spend up tp 120sgd depending on the service included. I expect a professional light setting and make up. Friendly comfortable patient setting and experience in this kind of photography since there is a lot to be aware of. The picture has to get an interested, sympathetic but also earnest impression across. This would be a good example: http://www.focus.de/karriere/bewerb...rbungsfoto/tid-6875/lebenslauf_aid_66963.html
Why is it so hard to find these kind of photography in Singapore? I can find lots of photographer for wedding, baby, family portrait but not this kind.
Any suggestions/offers?
Thank you.

what you may want to find is a classic photographer studio usually in the residential areas. Used to go to one for passport photos. These shops the uncles use film rather then digital cameras so may need to wait a couple of days.

need to wait a few days??
mine was done in an instant and he made several copies for like ... under 10bucks?

get some make up yourself. ;)
ask a close girl friend to help ya.

dont think you neeed to do this professionally.
most heartland areas have film studios that can let you have this.

Thank you very much for your suggestions til now but I definetly want a professional made picture. You can immediatly tell the difference. If you hand in a picture by one of these shops you can find in every mall they will think I'm not taking my own application serious.
The website of the Raffles studio isn't even working properly... doesn't make a good imrpession

i agree with the rest. i recommend Bright Studio at Clementi. They're professionally trained and they really shoot resume shots professionally and delivers with quality. Had mine done there before. :)

Raffles studio is a serious studio...... They invest in equipment upgrade frequently too. Met their people b4.

Hi,

Welcome!

Unless you are into modeling jobs, etc you don't really need a photo for your job application. Although photos may be requested, most advertisers look for experience and qualification to short-list.

Far more important is first impressions (i.e. dressing, personality, speech) at the interview, supported by your qualifications and experience.

But if you're intent on your quest, some studios will take 6 headshots, and let you choose one. There's one such outfit at the ex-multistorey carpark building along Cecil St, opp PwC Building. But I can't vouch for its quality.

Cheers

Die Bewerbungsfoto von karrier.de schaut komisch aus.
