ALAMAK. why everyone say today has nice sky? But i looked out... nothing except layers and layers of clouds :cry:

It may not looked like it if you are in town but away in Bedok Jetty, from further back for a brief 30minutes..it was beautiful...lots of people around me were using camera and phone camera to shoot it heheh... There was a nice hue of pink, lilac, orange, a still a blue sky in the background and sun rays and egde out the cloubs making them more 3D..... AHHH!!.. it was just beautiful..you had to be there.

ALAMAK... I know the water sure to blurry...I looking at the bridge itself...look at the pillars and arch..they were blurry or have motion blur

You used a tripod? still looks blurry leh

not sure if it is the IS, heard new IS lens can auto switch off when mounted on tripod. so she left it on. can somebody with new IS lens confirm it. thanks.

btw, i reach home 2am last night, james almost same time, complain to me the NR7 took him on a merry goes round trip until his butt hurts.:bsmilie::bsmilie: cant complain lar, lots cheaper than taking taxi mah. at min. still got air-cond what.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Actually i also heard from J316 on the IS thing. Hmm maybe next time try switching it off, then load it on lappie to confirm immediately. :sticktong

what terrible, how many of us here bother to "water proof" the lens before keeping htem in the bag.:bsmilie::bsmilie:

went to her flikr site, not all those taken are blurr. so i suspect those that are blur are due to too much over hang when the centre column was mounted horizontally to lower the tripod all the way down. so the mirror slap cause vibration and hence camera shake.

SHot this the last night and just to share with you all if u people interested shooting those "lantern" thing. Clarke Quay has some event going on, those decorated boat "swimming" around. And it might be nearer to CHinese Garden for some of us.
