I remember when i was young, there were often lots of windsurfers at sea and my grandmother will get very excited whenever she saw them and she will scream to me in the house to come and see. Scream macham like house on fire like that. Because the sails were very colourful, having many of them spread out over the sea was really an awesome sight to behold.
I don't know what happened. Maybe windsurfing is less popular now or there are less competitions or what... I don't often see such things anymore. Sometimes just some windsurfs... but not many. Last time often can see so many.

heheh maybe your granny was have the "HOTs" for all those sexy bare body msucular surfers sailing about heheheheh..... Ya I use to surf there in the early 80s when wind surfing was at it's peak. There was a nice windwsurf club there for you to park your boards..etc. Nice place to hang out...lots of japs chicks to see see look look too heheheh

Now still got this Bird Sanctuary or not? Where is it ah?
The whole stretch all trees now... but more pple than any birds anywhere in EC.

It is still there lah... all the thich overgrowth you see that is not cut and maintence...that is the bird santuary. The Bird part is just an excuse to not waste money gardening the entire length of park from Tanjung Rhu right up to just before you reached the PA camp site. Now I think they too paiseh to call it that..I have not seen all those "Bird Santuary" green sign at any stretch of the ECP now.

Bro ah, windsurfing and surfing are two different things. Surfing you need waves to ride on. Windsurfing you need wind... don't want waves if not your windsurf will be harder to control and easy to peng san.
