eh yb, you haven't say your trip from when to when leh

Thanks, can understand why. But have been cleaning mine the art brush way for the past 2 years (>10 times), and had not picked up any signs of scratchs or glue. Guess I have been quite gentle with it. Besides, I don't rub it back & forth, only one sweep per side and stop.

yar actually i saw, but im quite apprehensive from what i read from here about artist brushes:

http://www.visibledust.com/technology.php?TCID=2

it seems that damage is accumulated hence you will not see it right away.

alright, i took the plunge and got the Arctic Butterfly from visibledust. Very very effective... and because of its effectiveness... one grain of sand from my taiwan trip last time got caught in the fibres of the brush and scratched the sensor... now my poor sensor got a visible scratch...

thankfully... the scratch appears as a faint smudge like scratch when i auto levels and push the contrast slider. But this is one lesson for dry cleaning for me... :(

Appears that mirror also will cause dust problems... I think i dun care so much already...probably change cam is better solution... :p

just get soft cleaning tissue for lenses + ice cream stick  it's a method modified from nikon's cleaning kit, but i got the original cleaning kit anyway, and it works wonderfully

funny thing is no matter how i clean still got some persistant dust can't get removed...

it's the person behind the cleaning kit, not the cleaning kit ... ... ... :bsmilie: oh well, then get what you think cleans well then

haha no lar i haven tried your method yet i mean... what i mean is i use the sensor brush and still can't remove those persistant ones... maybe i gotta try wet cleaning

ok now not scratches... i know why i can't remove "dust" cos they are not dust lolx... all are grease and grime :p

wah supersjourn, faster than a speeding bullet

good morning everyone

zhangyb: get a P&S then no more problems with dust
or a few DSLR one for each lens you have

off to hiroshima tomorrow till 29, see you all later ... but got internet access at the hotel there, so may have chance to pop in for a couple of 'good mornings' :bsmilie:
