Racoon, sorry to hear abt your food poisoning. I'm not surprised considering the rush job. I don't think they had time to wash the place once before operation.

And no ceiling fan drop ah? Was half expecting that as well.

Oh, good news! Just went for my review and my Blood Sugar Level is now normal! A month of careful eating and some exercise sure helped! Don't know why the doc still give me medicine leh. The last one wanted me to control my diet and won't give me medicine even though I was high then. Now normal range and this one gave me meds?

Should I continue to watch my diet instead of taking the meds? Don't really like pumping my body with artificial chemicals. Yamlo, Sjourn, any advice? Does taking the meds mean I can start eating some sugar? I would prefer to stick to my current diet of no sugar.

Stick with less sugar lah...I am enjoying food with less sugar now. Even if I ever fully recover, I will still stick with my diet now. More healthy IMHO. If you dun need medication, don't take. That's my belief. But my case I still need to take for another year or so...:cry:

BTW Vel, if I wanted to make Caramel Popcorn, what's the ratio of sugar & water and other stuff to use so that I don't make the popcorn too soggy? And what nuts do you think will be a good addition into the mix?

Mine ends up too soggy, but I can't get the sugar to melt properly without the extra water boiling away.
