read through all the post here bro... like I said now a day no country could lift a finger without other knowing it Also looking how agressive China towards the south china sea is enough to get other nations in APAC to get worried. I am not forgeting what japan did to Asian countires they've invaded but time had change it's no longer the same as 1942... Japan is bound with it's treaty after surrending during WW2 those had not changed since then. Oh did you also hear China would want to have a patrol over south china sea to block all ship passing that waters? what do you think is the implication of that to Singapore and other ASEAN countries? so who again you should be worried?

Dont forget Japan also has a lot of Nuke power plant to add to your worries

Who's saying we forget what they did? no one all of us here agrees but pls try to look past WW2 do you think 1942 will happen again and Japan will do the same? I dont think they can win with China if war sparks between them now. So pls stop dwelling in the past I am not saying we forget it but be more open minded. Anyways I rest my case and also pls I have relatives that where killed by Japanese also during WW2 so you think I am forgeting that no sir. Just saw on History channel. Japan invaded Northern China (Machuria) in Sept, 1931. Captured Nanjing in Dec, 1937. Killed more than 20 million chinese during the period until the Jap surrendered in 1945. Really, history does not bold well. I doubt China will give up the island without a fight.

To have the Japanese slaughter hapless and poorly equipped Chinese is fairly easy. But when you she them plan and take on the US at Pearl Harbor is a totally different ball game. Don't underestimate these born-again Pacifist.
