Petition to KMSC

Hi guys,

I am going to write a petition to KMSC regarding my displeasure on their new operating hours. Be it the previous or the new operating hours, KMSC has not been customer oriented all these years. KMSC should restructure their operating hours to allow working adults like me and many others who do not have the time to send any KM products for servicing.

Common sense should kick in automatically when it comes to provide service to the customers, isn't it? I am not stating KM shall follow Hewlett Packard-Compaq's SC to open from 9am to 9pm on weekday, which is very customer oriented and I am very impressed. KMSC should at least extend its operating hours on 1 or 2 of the weekdays by at least 2 hours. Canon SC is one good example in this case.

any petition i am in, and i hope they put more 'knowledgable' ppl on the front desk, and also a system whereby any followups should be err... follow up, cos they seem to always neglect me... dunno y...

I know Panasonic open on saturday morning just to handle customer service, although the staffs were dressing casual, I don't mind that though.
Even just one staff stay until 7.30pm just for receiving and return goods to customer and no servicing would be nice.

their working hours are within my working hours...

I also feel that they should also have courier service for our cameras. but then again, do you feel safe about letting the courier company bring your camera? i have parcels which are dented from using Singapore Post before... even with thick layers of bubble wrap. And i experience before disappearance & reappearance of my local parcel postage after 1 week of sending from killiney postoffice to towner... that scares the hell out of me...

i hands up....same goes for those service- companies that closed on Saturdays.
They think that we all 'tang-chiak' (salaried workers) can suka-suka apply leave/time-off on weekdays just to send our equipments (camera, Hifi, AV) for servicing during office-hrs.

Like what you proposed, at least close later on certain days of the week ma.....my office hrs up till 630pm.

Against longer opening hours? No what... just that it should not be every day of the week... people also want to go home early and people dun like shift... will be difficult but if as Drudkh suggested, only 1 or 2 days a weelk, that's ok... and maybe until 7pm only...

To make it more effective... make sure KM headquarters get a copy too. Usually, local office lag behind in terms of service.... Singapore service can be described as "bo chap".... all interested in earning your $$ and then its sayonara...

Don, may I request the extension to at least 7:30pm or 8pm? Many people working hour now ends at 6:30pm due to 5 day week, so having to open up 7:00pm is not going to be effective IMO. Whether it applies to 1 or 2 days is up to you lah.

me work til 7pm leh, close door, 7:30pm, reach carpark 8pm, den go up... CLOSED!

maybe they should have a deposit box.
