We see all sort of public gathering from classmates, army mates & friends etc., at the park, beach, places of interests etc. So, no worry about permits.

The only permits we need are from gf, wife etc.:bsmilie:

Last year they set up a stand at one of those photgraphy exhibitions at Suntec. I collected my Clubsnap car decal from them there. That would have been a great opportunity to catch them..heh heh. But now that you are reborn, no need for it...:bsmilie:

Time to plan our outing again. This time let's do a city walk around The Helix and Marina Bay Sands since both were just opened last week. I'm sure quite a few guys here would love to take a look at them.

Time: 8:00am- 9:00pm
Venue: The Esplanade, The Helix, Marina Bay Sands

I recce the place yesterday. It is best we meet at Millenia Walk outside the promenade MRT station outlet facing Pan Pacific Hotel. There is a Killiney kopitiam outlet there with a lot of seats. It will be a hell of a walk if we starts from Funan Centre/Raffles City. Bring some protection for your gear as the walk between the Marina Square and the Casino got no shelter. Our camera maybe weather resistant but not waterproof...

This is good suggestion. I fancy the start point should be closer too.

At least you walked the distance. I saw the human jam and told myself there's no way I'm attempting it. I figured there was a dead end since there was construction work ongoing at the other side of the bridge.

Also, I don't think it's a good idea for night shooting due to the massive saturday night crowd. Unless you're sniping that is... :dunno:

I was driving past the road that leads to esplanade and experienced the traffic and human jam outside the helix bridge. I second Baracus opinion. It is really jam packed. However, I am sure you guys will still be able to take some fantastic shots regardless the situation.
