Freshie can join? I'll be coming from JB, is it feasible to drive to the location or better to take public transport? Please advice on parking availability and ERP charges along my route. I've never been to that part of Singapore yet.

You can park your car at CINTECH I at Science Park Drive. It's free parking on Saturdays even there's a entry barrier.
It's about few minutes walk to Kent Ridge station, then to Haw Par Villa Station.
