Definitely a busy outing. So busy that some of us got separated from the group, never to be seen again. :bsmilie:
Unfortunately, I got a throbbing headache 2hrs into the shoot from the mixture of humidity and crowds and couldn't concentrate, much less shoot. Apologies to everyone whom I didn't engage much or gave a long face to. :embrass:

Anyway, Chinatown mean street shooting. And like last year, I shot from the hip with my workhorse, the Sigma 10-20.

As the crowd got denser, I tried out shooting from the knee in portrait orientation for added dynamism. (Shooting in landscape format would be murder on my wrist)

A lot of very nice photos from you guys. Was just too busy over the weekend to post anything.
Always a pleasure to meet up with new Pentax users and it was a nice stopover at Manly.

My goodness. All your shots are so nicely composed and sharp. Would love to hear how you actually do your settings for the different situations.
In anycase, nice to have met everyone although i was late and could only stay an hour.
In fact, I managed to squeeze out another hour on Sunday and went there again but did not see single other pentaxian...:embrass:
I guess the highlight of the Sat meet was Fengwei, true to his pentaxian heart, managed to convince a young XMM to buy a k-x! So pentaxian population+1 ..haha And yes, I saw Fengwei's favourite Indian model but paiseh to take another shot of him..heh heh
