Alright, this will be my first outing ever since I became a Pentaxian 3 years ago! :sweat:
Recently, I persuaded a colleague to get k-x instead of Canon s90, and introduced her to the wonders of dslr. She's been a pns user all her life and it's still a little overwhelming for her, too bulky, too troublesome to bring out, etc.... and she's thinking of selling it, so I asked her to join this outing... may be she'll change her mind after meeting all the friendly people here

for those coming early and want to take breakfast, can meet at mcdonald beside the park at amk st11 beside the park. can TCSS a bit before shooting!! can see the mcdonald from the main road.

Sure, it weights about 800 over grams, probably better to be supported by tripod or monopod. For normal lights, the bokeh is one of the best.

Thanks to seefei's effort and suggestion, let's go to AMK Garden for Aug outing.


Date: 14th Aug 2010
Time: 8am to whenever we wanna stop
Venue: AMK Town Garden West

Meet up: at the pond on the right hand of the main entrance from AMK Ave 6 (facing the AMK Library).

Things to bring: mosquito repellent (very important, must bring!), water, sunblock, your best gear for macros/flowers/portraits/whatever you like to shoot.
