Pentax Wessex Estate Trip - Photos

Ok here are 2 more shots of mine from the k-x, I have not process the film by k2 yet. It's black and white film, not C-41, so difficult to find shops to process, have to bring to the city.

Parking lots all taken up by us.

Darren,

I saw you in funan 2 ir 3 yrs back and could remember you as a young boy rather than a mature guy. Seems time have change, mature looking, ofcourse handsome with the GF by your side. I could hardly recognise you now.:D

hello darren

how do u achieve this tone? thanks

I applied a lightroom preset "PH Oldschool skintone" which basically drops the saturation and applies a split toning of a pinkish brown for the highlights and a light purplish blue for the shadows. :)

I think that was only last year leh! While I was interning at MTI that's why I was in the funan area to bump into you. I guess the one year of being overseas has changed me, or maybe it's just the longer hair now that makes me look different. :)

huh? photobucket's photos seem a bit off?
u mean they resize your photos?
i've been using photobucket since my first photo and they are all fine..
did u adjust the settings so that the size of your uploaded photos arent limited?

I used the default settings. maybe I need to tweak it. Thanks will look into it. :)

Bro, I use flickr and my Exif information is retained in all my images.
First off, you got to make sure that when you save or export to jpeg that the metadata is intact and not stripped away which will happen if you save in a lower quality.
After you upload your images to flickr, just click the Actions tab of the individual photo and you will see View All Sizes menu item. Among the available sizes, you need to click Original. Depending on how large your uploaded image is, Large and Original could be of the same size in pixels but only Original will show the full exif.
Photobucket is a lot worse than Flickr imo.

Thanks Dennis. I do concur the images look better from flikr. No wonder my photos look more crappy after I upload them from photobucket. But its a little easier to use and most of my pics are there so I stick with it for now. The site is up already. :)

Hi, I click on Actions then View All Sizes and I see
Square (75 x 75) Thumbnail (68 x 100) Small (162 x 240) Medium 500 (338 x 500) Medium 640 (433 x 640) Large (693 x 1024) but not the Original and yes all those sizes do not show exif.... Im using free account not paid type.
Anything I can configure to view exif? Thanks

Wow! So many excellent and fun photos you guys got there

Pity I've been too busy packing/unpacking over the weekend, didn't get chance to check online until now. Haven't really looked at my photos yet :( Will try to post some before everybody gets tired of seeing all the cats/candids shots :)

yup...I saw the same thing too. Perhaps only the paid account can do it?

Thank you for posting the photos - they brought back fond memories. I used to live in Wessex Estate some 30 years ago (I was very young then, of course).

I still remember the train track I had to cross every day to get home from Queensway.

And sound of the train is like an alarm that marks 10.05 pm - the train leaves Tanjung Pagar at 10.00 every night. The train schedule has changed since then.
