Recent ebay prices for 2nd hand is going at abt US 6K body alone. There were a few going at that price range but there were many bidders as well. So dun expect it to come much lower, cos too many are going in at that kind of price. You may have to wait for 2 more months when 645d2 is launch, with an expected bigger sensor, likely 51 M pixels, if 645 d price were to fall.
This is not a fast frame per sec camera. Not for those birders definitely. will be great for landscape, portait photographers like, Imam(ocenpriest), simon, Kent, edutilos, bernard and many more who shoot mainly landscapes and portrait and those who take their time to compose, manually set and shoooot
Meanwhile I am shooting with my trusted K5, sufficient at the moment.
