This too... lol :bsmilie:

By the way, which part of Sungei Road are these treasures found? I'm going to have a look see later today.

anyone can tell me how to acheive the super blur effect at the back of ur focus object/person. i was playing around with all the function i can see and cant seem to get that. i though Av mode suppose to get that, but i tried but still cant =(

I just noticed your post sandwiched between all the photos.

The effect is a combination of a long focal length (> 50mm), wide aperture, camera to subject distance, and subject to background distance. It can be done with anything from the 50-200mm lens to FA*85mm lens, just keep your aperture as wide as you can and your subject in front of a distant background.

super blur effect simple to achieve actually... just pay for it... :bsmilie:

I forgot to mention, that I am very happy to be a part of this outing. Its a great way to learn alot of things. Even though I didnt learn much on strobing etc...coz I totally confused. lol. But learning about lens like one of the bro show us the difference in using zoom and 50mm for potrait really let me experience more.

Also, I was very awkward at first thinking will this be like a group clan gathering (eg; I and u are this group and the rest can go away) like some gathering I joined in the past but i was wrong, all of you work together smile together. The best part, everyone is trigger-ready. One subject come up, click click click all the way...lol. Getting scold by one of the guy in Sungei rd to not take that statue pic is also part of the experience, haha. But that $400 up front money he ask is absurd. I should just throw 20cents.

My best fren come later but he was late. lol. And didnt get much pic to take, I think he never take any.lol. But at least he learn some lenses from Bro Supangat(if I get his name right) and WE straight away go to Manly after that. Lol. Thanks to Fauzan(I think) for letting me use his Sigma. very heavy indeed. Your carbon fiber body looks cool!

But I learn one thing in this gathering... BRING ALOT OF ANTIBIOTIC! U sure kena BBB VIRUS. Have to break-in the bank tonight. lol

Thanks for teaching a noob like me.

totally agree with riscal, pentaxian outing is so much more fun than the other outings.. pentaxian outing gives a sort of familiy feeling, and everyone is always close together on the go.. seniors out there are also very generous on sharing knowledge with each other.. therefore, I'll definitely be there for the next outing :)

They are found all over the place... Just need to keep a sharp eye... There are 2 shops worth taking a look though... But I ain't sure how to describe them... Working condition might not be good for most... But then u might just get lucky ;)

LOL, just saw from Canon section that they also want to start organizing outing. Were they influenced by us?

But I don't think I will be joining them.
