tio poison deep deep.... esp Pentax poison, at the last min self heal.... but if Pentax were to launch a K8 or K7s or K7 MKII.... :lovegrin:.... with features of D700/5DMKII and go for
S$2000, I will sell my kidney to buy it even if the queue goes from Changi to Johore.... :rolleyes:

you could also think about waiting about 1 year more for k-7 replacement as the model is just less than 1 year old. Usually Pentax releases their medium ranges in long time frame, but it happens in big leap against each other.

Heh... heh! But I think this time the rules will be broken... K8/K9 (whatever!) will be announced this year... I kinda have a really strong hunch! Or another new line of DSLR perhaps with the K-x sensor... that would actually make more sense to fight the competition!! Let's wait and see!! :think:

I won't even be very surprised if such an announcement is made before mid-2010. Pentax/Hoya seems to be responding quite aggressively nowadays as compared to in the past.

I heard new DSLR is coming... 645D early this year... ;)

eh....the new 645 is still a DSLR leh. Only difference medium-format-sized sensor vs APS-C for the KXXX series. But seriously, if you are not a professional, I cannot think of any reason for anyone to get the MF camera. Just look at the photos from Fengwei, Creampuff, nigh86mare and the others here. One should focus on improving on technique and composition to match those before thinking of upgrading to MF. I mean the camera is huge like a brick! ;p

Ehrm. What I mean is don't take too much hope on k-7 replacement this early. There might be new releases but it might not be in line with medium range. Let say the NX rebadged and 645d.

Anyway, 645d is still DSLR as said before the only difference is the sensor size. ;)

well, but on the bright side, whenever pentax releases something new, you bet they have improved it significantly. :)

I saw at Amazon that there is a book for K7, title "Magic Latern Guide - K7", authour is Peter K Burian. Any one has any idea to get this book in Singapore. Looking around some major bookshops but failed to see it.
 

guys, i am having issues registering my warranty for the camera and lenses. Wondering if anyone of you had the same problem.
 

Warranty registration has been an issue from time to time. The best common solution seem to be to email or call Emjay, and they will solve the problem real quick :)

you can email or call emjay. They have somekinda problems with their database, I think.

AF points - Good :thumbsup:
CF card - bad :thumbsd:

CF card is humongous and will destroy the cute portable smallish body meh. :nono:

Besides, it's more than card and AF points that are needed to be improved.
